These are slots which have bonus games. The way
the bonus is activated depends on the machine,

symbols on the winline over a number of spins.

All symbols of a winning combination must be adjacent to each
other and one of the symbols must be in either the left most
or right most reel. Thus a three-symbol combination on the second,
third and fourth slot reels does not pay out.
